Why Choose This Charger

  • Much faster than a wall outlet: Level 2 charging is several times faster than Level 1 (120V), which adds only about 3–5 miles per hour.
  • Standard U.S. connector: plugs straight into compatible vehicles with no adapter.
  • Flexible install: choose a plug-in or hardwired setup to match your garage.
  • Connectivity: Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, CAN and RS485
  • App control: Schedule and monitor charging from the Autel app
  • Colors: Dark Gray or White

Compatible Vehicles

Every EV sold in the U.S. can charge on Level 2: J1772-port EVs (Chevy, Ford, Hyundai, Kia, Nissan, Rivian, VW and more) plug in directly with a J1772 connector, while Teslas and 2025-and-newer NACS EVs use a NACS connector or an adapter. Check the connector shown on this listing before you order. Always check your vehicle's maximum AC charging rate; a car with an 11 kW onboard charger will not charge faster than that, even on a higher-rated charger.

Installation Requirements

For full 40A charging the charger needs a dedicated 240V circuit with a 50A double-pole breaker (125% of the charging current). A plug-in version uses a NEMA 14-50 outlet on a 50A circuit with 6 AWG copper wire, and recent codes generally require GFCI protection for garage and outdoor 240V outlets. See our NEMA 14-50 outlet guide, and have a licensed electrician check panel capacity and permits.
