Compatible Vehicles

Most non-Tesla EVs and plug-in hybrids sold in the U.S. with a J1772 port (for example Chevy Bolt and Equinox EV, Ford Mustang Mach-E, Hyundai Ioniq 5, Kia EV6, Nissan Leaf, Rivian, VW ID.4). Teslas can use it with the J1772 adapter that comes with most Teslas. Always check your vehicle's maximum AC charging rate; a car with an 11 kW onboard charger will not charge faster than that, even on a higher-rated charger.

Installation Requirements

This charger is hardwired, so it connects directly to a dedicated 240V circuit. For 48A charging, EV charging rules call for a 60A breaker (125% of the charging current) and correctly sized copper wire. Hardwiring avoids outlet wear, allows the full 48A, and suits indoor or outdoor garage installs. Have a licensed electrician check your panel capacity, pull any required permit and install it.
