Camera hardware is safety-relevant. A red lens tint may be a clue for HW4, but it is not a sufficient ordering method. Check Controls → Software → Additional Vehicle Information where available and compare the physical housing with the product imagery.
Four looks for Model 3/Y hardware groups
Choose by reflected light and weave character—not the color name alone.
Lower-reflection finish
More subdued under daylight; the only current option for Model X.
Colored weave accent
A deliberate red-toned exterior detail rather than an OEM-style match.
Irregular flake pattern
Less uniform than woven carbon and visually stronger at close range.
Matching note: weave scale, direction, coating and reflected color may differ from spoilers, mirror covers or other carbon accessories made in another batch.
Full cover means more edge alignment
Test the opening and every perimeter edge before bonding.
Compared with a small cap, this piece follows more of the triangular camera housing. The benefit is broader visual coverage; the trade-off is that hardware mismatch or poor alignment becomes more obvious.
- Dry-fit both left and right pieces and confirm the camera aperture remains centered and unobstructed.
- Check the signal-light opening and all panel gaps from several angles.
- If either side rocks, contacts the lens area or requires force to sit flat, stop and recheck the selected hardware version.
Package and installation

The current package list states: 1 pair × side camera covers and 1 piece × 3M tape. Inspect all items and complete a dry fit before exposing or applying adhesive.

Prepare
Clean away wax, oil, dust and moisture; work on a dry surface at a suitable temperature.
Align
Center the camera and light openings first, then confirm every outer edge before bonding.
Press and inspect
Apply even pressure, allow the bond to set, then verify both camera views and edge security.
After installation: inspect the live side-camera feeds in good light and confirm there is no vignetting, reflection, obstruction or warning. Do not drive with a loose cover or any impaired camera view.

No. Treat “Please Choose” as an unconfirmed placeholder. Identify HW3, HW4 or the dedicated Model X option before purchasing so the camera opening and housing contour match.
Does this fit Model 3 Highland, Model Y Juniper or Model YL?
The current HW4 selector covers Model 3 from 2023.11 onward, Model Y from 2025 onward and Model YL 2026+. Confirm the actual HW4 camera housing before ordering.
What does the Model X option include?
It is a dedicated Model X 2017–2024 variant currently offered only in matte carbon fiber. Do not substitute a Model 3/Y HW3 or HW4 piece.
Will the cover affect camera operation?
Correct fitment and alignment are essential. TESERY cannot promise that an incorrectly selected, misaligned or loose cover will not affect the view. Dry-fit first and inspect the live camera feeds after installation.
Can the adhesive cover be removed?
Removal effort and residue depend on bond time, temperature, surface preparation and paint condition. Use careful detailing technique; TESERY cannot guarantee residue-free removal on every surface.
What should I know about returns?
Verify the hardware version, dry-fit both pieces and inspect the openings before exposing adhesive. Installed or adhesive-exposed products generally have restricted non-quality return eligibility; review the current refund policy.
